My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is the story of the sweet dog we call "Zuzu".

As a young puppy she learned to love and trust humans. They kept her safe and fed her. Then one day, for some reason, her humans took her for a ride. They stopped at a small bridge beside a drainage ditch and had her get out. Then they drove away! She thought for sure that they would return for her. But, after a week of waiting, they had not returned.

There were some nice people in the area that gave her food. And after several days of bad weather, they came and brought Zuzu into a kennel in their back yard where she was safe and "mostly" dry.
These people are nice, but they have 2 dogs that are not happy about Zuzu being in their yard. There are also 3 kitties living in the house. Zuzu watches this family thru the window. They are a happy family. Zuzu really wants to be part of a family like that too!!

Zuzu loves belly rubs and basically any kind of attention. She never fusses at humans and does her very best to make them happy. She is sweet and gentle. A quick learner! House trained, walks on leash, sits, plays ball, and has no food aggression. She's been seen by the vet. She's healthy and on heartworm preventative. Zuzu needs to be spayed. But first she needs a home in which to recover. All expenses will be covered.

Won't you be the lucky one to find room in your home and your heart for sweet Zuzu?
