Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"It's taco time! My name is TACO, and I'm a lovable little old man who's sure to entertain you. I'm a twelve-year-old Chihuahua, and I'm here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter because my owner became too ill to care for me. I may have grown a few gray hairs over the years, and my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be, but I still love to go for walks. I walk perfectly on the leash. I haven't lost my sense of curiosity, either, so I still like to check things out and sniff around the play yard. It takes me a minute to get to know a new person, but once I do, you can pick me up and snuggle me. I'd be a good pet in either an adult home, or in a family where the kids are older and considerate of me. The shelter staff is pretty sure that I've already been house trained. One benefit to adopting a Super Senior is that MY ADOPTION FEE IS ONLY $30. That fee includes my microchip, plus I've already been neutered and I'm up-to-date on my shots. That's a good deal for a cute little guy like me. When you come to visit me, I might bark. Please don't be deterred. Just ask one of our helpful staff to take us out to the play yard so I can get to know you and trust you, then I'll be as happy as clam. Love, Taco" Kennel #55
