My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Super cute Marley is a friendly, loving boy who adores cuddles, tummy rubs and hugs. He makes friends easily and likes to give gentle kisses, such an affectionate guy!

He has wonderfully soft, wavy fur that seems to be low or non shedding. He is 4 and a half years old and 24 pounds.

Marley sits for treats, likes to please his people, and has an easy going temperament. He enjoys leash walks. He will make a great family dog!

He was surrendered when his owners home was foreclosed and she could no longer keep him. He gets along beautifully with the other dog that came from that household but we have not tested him with our other rescue dogs yet. He seems to be the kind of guy who just gets along well with the world.

Since he spent a lot of time outside in his prior home, he will need housetraining but he is a very cooperative kind of fellow, just needs to be shown what to do. The use of a belly band the first week in his new home should prevent any accidents. He does keep his kennel clean here at the shelter.

Marley is certainly a delightful, fun guy with a warm personality who is sure to make his new family very happy.
