MEET IZOD….and to know him is to love him! This charcoal/white, 3 yr old, 13 lb. Lhasa/Tzu mix has a wonderful personality! He is sight challenged in one eye, which we believe was caused by trauma never treated. We think it gives him character ♥♥ Izod makes up for it in his loving, attentive demeanor and great manners. He is wonderful with other dogs and his foster buddies have helped bring him out of his shell. Now that he has come out of his shell, he shows his gregarious (but not too overbearing), playfulness. He is very submissive and will back off if another dog gets annoyed with him (which is rare). He loves dogs and humans of all ages….and would love to be a family dog. He will do best in a home where there is access to a yard, as he does not know how to use a doggie door and will mark when he arrives — just needs patience as he is very smart and learns quickly. Now that he has settled in, he is doing 1,000 times better! If you are looking for an easy going, playful, happy, special boy….Izod is your guy – will you give him him a shot?

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
