My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marley is in approximately 10-year-old Border Collie mix being fostered in Des Moines Iowa.

We were told he was a farm dog, he is a very sweet and loving boy loves to play fetch with various toys.

Marley likes people and gets along with other dogs after an initial settling in and will play with them.
He is crate trained and housebroken he hasn't had any accidents in the house since he has been with us. Initially we kept him in his crate at night, but after a few days we let Marley have the run of the house when we were sleeping. He settles at the foot or the side of the bed.

He is a very good watch dog and will alert you if someone is outside.

Marley is overweight as you can see, and is currently on a reducing diet. However, he is very solid and built like a fireplug. I believe he was used to an active lifestyle on the farm.

He is good with children and has a lot of energy.

Marley has not yet been evaluated with cats.

He would do great with an older couple that can give him the exercise and love he needs.

A completed adoption application must be submitted to NBCR before you can be considered to adopt this dog. There is also a $180 adoption fee
