My story

Meet Maven! Maven is a 3 year old German Shepherd Dog who gets along well with most other dogs and is sweet as can be. She has not been tested with cats. This girl came in to the shelter as a stray. A very OVER-BRED stray. This poor girl show evidence of litter after litter, most likely making someone lots of money for their backyard breeder operation, and apparently they don’t care enough to look for her. This girl has seen a lot in her short life, and endured plenty. She has MUCH that she would like to share with the lucky family that eventually adopts her! They will learn so many things from her – and she will gift them with her love and loyalty on top of that!

Adopt A Pup is 100% foster-based which means we do not have a centralized facility where you can visit our dogs. The first step towards meeting the dog(s) you are interested is to complete an application. One of our volunteers will contact your references and set up a time between you and the foster to meet and interact with the dog(s) of interest.
