Nellie's Story...
Nellie was rescued alongside her friend Ruby from the Ramona Humane Society. They had both been put on death row due to lack of space. Nellie is about 8 months old as of 5/21/2015. She is super sweet, great with babies and young children, and gets along well with other dogs. She is a small girl, weighing in at about 32 pounds. She is a beautiful white and gray pittie mix with big eyes. Nellie is ready to go to her new home today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nellie, a Los Angeles American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
