My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB May 6, 2007.

Our Quincy was recently rescued after being found fending for himself on the unkind streets of our fair city. Meeting this sweetie with his opaque pink nose and soulful green eyes, the realization that he's been homeless will soften even the toughest of hearts; the biggest reason being that he is without a doubt, just a very gentle soul that wants nothing more than to be loved.

Immediately upon arriving in foster care, Quincy was desperate for reassurance from his foster parents and has settled into a home environment that includes two resident cats, as though he's lived here forever! He loves affection, enjoys being patted, and has a very healthy purr motor to prove it. Extremely gentle, friendly, and inquisitive, Quincy also loves to watch the world outside, so a home with lots of windows that he could sun himself in or gaze out, would really be beneficial for him. Even though his age classifies him as a senior, Quincy is very active, loves to race around the house at top speed, and loves to play chase/hide n' seek with one of the resident cats in his foster home.

Life on the streets has left him a bit nervous and anxious when it comes to sudden movements, moving objects and loud noises, but every day of safety sees Quincy relaxing more and more, and even when he feels afraid and has the need to seek a safe place to retreat to, it's not long before he returns to the centre of things. Due to his fears, we would request a relatively quiet home for this adorable little boy, one without small children or dogs, and with a person/s that would be able to respect his need to settle in at his own pace. Another laid back, easygoing feline friend would be good for Quincy but provided he got lots of attention, he could just as easily be adopted into a home where he was the only resident feline. Adopt this handsome gentleman today!

Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice appreciated, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.
