Friday's Story...
Friday is a fabulous girl looking for a loving forever home. Friday came in with a large group of cats and is now looking for the individualized attention she deserves. She is a talkative and playful girl who loves to cuddle. Friday enjoys having her ears and cheeks rubbed and is a huge fan of playing with the laser pointer. Friday came to us pregnant and has since raised three adorable kittens. Now that they are big enough to be on their own, she is looking forward to finding her own place in the world. She has a ton of experience around other cats and would enjoy living with a mellow male. Friday got along great with the dogs in her foster home and can live with a cat-savvy dog that won't chase her. Friday is super gentle but isn't the biggest fan of being carried so she needs a home with children who will respect her wishes. If Friday sounds like the cat for you, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application so you can see for yourself what a special girl she is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Friday, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
