Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Elvis is one of the most grateful rescues we have come across. He was found wandering in Arkansas only using 3 legs. Xrays showed the 4th leg had a bullet lodged in it which had shattered the bone. Elvis made the best of it, and never complained about the pain- but repair was impossible. His leg was amputated, and Elvis started to act like a puppy again! He LOVES his squeaky toys and chasing frogs. Elvis gets along well with other dogs, and he likes to sniff the cats at his foster home but never chases them. He always wants to go for a walk, but once he gets to the corner he turns around, ready to go home. Elvis loves kids and adults alike, and will be the perfect family dog as long as the family is ready for 85 pounds of lovin'.
If you are interested in adopting Elvis, please complete an application at www.digsk9.org. His adoption fee is $225.00. He is finishing up his heartworm treatment, current on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.
