Meet Fancy! This girl may not look that "fancy" on the outside, but her loving personality suits her to be your new princess. When Fancy first got to the shelter, she was so shy that she was constantly at the back of her kennel and barely moved even when taken out. Luckily, a volunteer turned her into her pet project and this girl immediately blossomed after only a weekend out of the shelter. After a few weekends and many maybe's from potential families, Fancy decided she wanted to stay in her foster home until she finds that perfect match! Now completely out of her shell, Fancy has shown her love for toys, treats, and (of course!) humans. She has also proven to be one smart cookie! She quickly picked up on her house manners and is already house-, kennel-, leash- and treadmill-trained (that's a new one!), along with knowing a few basic commands. Fancy is also an extremely good listener. When you tell her no, she definitely takes it to heart. You can tell her ears are always open by the precious head tilt she'll give you in response to any funny noise or questions!
At just around 8 months old, this girl weighs in around 30lbs and could stand to gain a little more meat on her bones. Being so sweet and gentle, Fancy would be ideal for a family with children and/or other dogs. All this girl really wants is to be around her family, so being in a yard all day is really not her thing. Need an apartment pup? Fancy's your girl! She promises to be the most perfect, loyal companion for her forever family. Even if you aren't quite a royal family!
Dogs in our program are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and given a physical by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
