My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlotte is a beautiful Tortie Manx and she's young too, probably just about a year old...she came to us unspayed, so we ad her tested, she was neg/neg, spayed, all of her shots and treated wit Revolution. She is a sweet girl who likes attention. She wasn't fond of the kittens but I feel that was due to the fact that she was not spayed. The other cats who are spayed and neutered were very accepting of themand one, Elizabeth, even let them "nurse" on her. She has no milk so she just a swet girl I'll bet she would have been a great mom or if she had kitten, at one time, she was a great Mom.
Charlotte is certainly not the kind of cat that we get on a routine basis....in 20 years we've only had a pair of Manx kittens. So we donlt expect that she will stay with us for very long.
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. We are at the East Bay Veterinary Care at 286 Maple Avenue, in Barrington, RI Monday thru Friday but we can show or adopt on any day pf the week. The phone number is 401-247-1111. You are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO, which is so important to help combat the pet overpopulation crisis.
