My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BOSS is a 3 year old neutered yellow male Lab who weighs 49 pounds. Boss & Buddy are siblings who have been together since they were puppies, . Boss & Buddy are good dogs who are friendly and love to get petted. Buddy is the leader and the first to explore, Boss follows along to make sure he doesn't get into trouble or if he does to help. They ate and drank from the same bowls. And slept next to each other at night. They lived in the country and are used to going out to a fenced in yard play in. They would like a to have a family that is active and can give them love, attention, training and exercise so they will thrive. Knows sit and come, working on other commands. Pull some on lead better with an easy walk, when you take them out together they each try and be the lead. Crate trained, they are keeping their run clean at the shelter and vets. Boss' & Buddy's Story Animal Control picked them up at an empty house after a report that they had been abandoned but later found out the owner went into a nursing home and relatives were taking care of them. They look just alike, the only way to tell them apart is Buddy has a small scar on his right eyelid. The shelter named them Murphy and Marley then found out their real names. None of the relatives could take them in so they surrendered them to the shelter and they came to us where they are better off. He is approved for kids 10+.

NOTE: Boss & Buddy are siblings who have been together since they were puppies. We have separated them at the kennel and they both seem to be doing well while apart They do not seem bonded but need to be adopted with another dog, as they have always lived with one. They come from the country and have had no exposure to big cities.

Update (6/2): Boss and Buddy are doing well, love to play and get attention. They do not seem bonded but need to be adopted with another dog as they have always lived with one.
