My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Serenity is an 18 month old double merle, deaf, drop dead gorgeous female sheltie.Serenity offers us an "Educational" moment here. Serenity is the result of breeding two merle dogs together. In this case it resulted in her being deaf. There do not seem to be any vision problems at this time. Yes, Serenity is gorgeous...however we will be very picky on where she is placed. She is deaf and loves to chase squirrels and birds so she must have a fenced yard. She is a dominant female so should not go to a home with another dominant female. She would be best with at least one other dog in the house. She loves to play with other dogs but is not big on being lovey with humans. We do not know how she is with kids or cats. We have worked with her so that now she will come in from outside at the flick of the light or wave of an arm. She is very fast and focused....would make a great agility dog if you have worked with deaf dogs before.
