This is Daisy, she is one of the survivors from the Rocklin Shelter that unfortunately shut down. She is decompressing from shelter life with a really bad skin condition that needs special care. Despite her suffering, she has the sweetest personality and is very attentive and ready to please whoever is taking care of her. She seems to be good with dogs and when she gets comfortable, her lovable, easy-going personality comes out and she is such a joy to be around. She is 5-6 years young and about 40 lbs. She's a strong but petite looking American Pit Bull mix and we will be getting her spayed soon. UPDATE 4/15/15: Daisy aka Daisy, has really come out of her shell. Since the mayhem of the shelter closing, being ripped away from her fur-brother and the fear of a scary place like a shelter when her previous owner dumped her there, she is truly coming into her own and showing us just what a silly, lovable girl she really is! Daisy is a vocal girl and will answer you anytime you ask her something. She wakes up every morning and bids her foster mommy "Goodmorning!!" She has integrated into the pack and she plays extremely well with her foster siblings daily as well as cuddles next to them all by night (male and female). Daisy has this look about her that just melts your heart. She says so much through her eyes...well and her mouth in some cases, ha! She is a happy girl and we love her shining personality! She is on the road to recovery with her skin and the remnants of her former life. She is patiently awaiting someone to come and sweep her off her feet. She is a love-bug who wants to cuddle with you all day and night, if you let her. She is well-rounded and confident. Each day she shows her foster momma something new that makes her laugh and just have to share it with the rest of the Pit Crew! Will you be the one Daisy entertains for years to come?
