Hi there. My name is Clarice. I'm about 3 months old and I weigh about 12 lbs.
I was found as a stray in East Liverpool.
I had a broken leg when I was picked up so the pound took me to the vet. The vet said my leg was already healing and it was in a pretty good position so they just splinted it up so it can be stabilized while it heals.
I am a typical puppy. I love everyone that I meet and I still need lots of training, so a patient, committed family is a MUST.
Also, I will need a new family that is able to take me back and forth to the vet every week or two to have my splint checked and changed. The vet clinic I have my splint through is Community Animal Clinic and they are in East Liverpool, OH.
Don't let my sleepy puppy photos fool you- I have tons of energy and the only time I slow down long enough to get a good photo is when I am tired. Needless to say, I don't let this splint slow me down.
I am very, very sweet, affectionate, cuddly girl.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MAY 24, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
