My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Oakland Joe! Hes a darling 3-4 year old male rottie/black lab mix. This sweetheart came to Rocket dog after some volunteers were out looking for our lost dog in the hills and we ended up catching Oakland Joe in our dog trap!

We couldn’t let this boy end up at a shelter, so after not being able to locate his owner – we made him a rocket dog!… Now this boy is all smiles!

This boy is a total charmer. Extremely loyal and loving like the breed. He has a good amount of energy but can easily calm down and relax at home. He looks like a big bear (his pictures dont do justice.) Oakland Joe can be selective with dog friends, he has been okay with some females but does not like most male dogs. He’s GREAT with all people!
