Facts about Mynka

  • Breed: Pit Bull Terrier
  • Color: White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
My name is Mynka, and I am a very happy and joyful 3 year old female Pit Bull Terrier. I am a clown, and my goofy ears and spotted belly are always the first things people fall in love with. I am great on leash, well mannered in the home and love kids. I don't know how to behave around other dogs though, as I am insecure and never socialized properly with other animals; when they bark I get scared and don't know what to do, so for now, until I can get the help I need from my new family, I would be best in a home as an only dog. I am a very petite 55 pounds, so I promise that I am a perfectly sized dog for apartment living & to ride shotgun in your car! I hope you will meet me and see how much of a low-maintenance and wonderful family dog I am, because my big smile seems to be infectious and I want to sprinkle that all over you! I am ready for a home, even if it is just a temporary foster home; I am currently in a boarding facility which is nice and clean, and I get walked every day, but I would be happier and more productive if I could be working on my good girls skills with YOU.

About DOGzHAUS Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

DOGzHAUS (pronounced as DOG HOUSE) is a small, Los Angeles based CA registered non profit dog rescue organization that was formed to give a second chance to the shelter dogs. We are a 501(c)(3) rescur group and your donations are tax deductible.100% of your donations benefit our rescue dogs. The organization is run by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and adoption fees.

All our dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on their shots and micro chipped before being adopted. While at the rescue, medical care is provided for each dog based on their individual needs. We can't guarantee the future health of the dog, and adopters are encouraged to take the dog to their own veterinarian for a thorough exam.

Our Goal:
*Rescuing dogs from life threatening situations at animal shelters and elsewhere.
*Finding their permanent loving homes with qualified owners.
*Assisting owners of dogs who can no longer keep them to find them new homes.
*Educating the public about the advantages of adopting dogs from shelters and rescue organizations, and about the need for spaying and neutering dogs.
*Educating dog owners and prospective owners with dogs about their proper care and training, and about other aspects of each breed.

Our Adoption Process...

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please contact us for the adoption application form. All dogs adopted through us are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and microchipped. Because the minimum adoption donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask our adopters to help us spread the word about the important work that we do. Our adoption donation minimum is $250 for adult medium to large dogs, $200 for small adult dogs, $275 for puppies 1 year and under (any size) and $180 seniors 8 years and older.
