Sabrina's Story...
Sabrina is a gorgeous girl with a lovely charcoal gray jacket and soft brown eyes. She has an athletic build and a nub of a tail that wags constantly when someone is giving her attention. She is energetic and curious about what is going on around her, but I did not find her to be as bouncy as I usually expect from a boxer blend. She waited patiently after our photo shoot while I talked with some other folks and she just wanted to be nearby. I found her to be very affectionate but not pushy. She liked to come over and rest her head in my lap and just be petted or to lean against my leg when we were standing. Cats are too tempting for Sabrina. 3-4 years, 63 lbs,

Act quickly to adopt Sabrina. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sabrina, a Darlington Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Darlington, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Darlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Darlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Darlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Darlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
