My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Maddie. Mary Ann named me as part of the Mother's Day fundraiser. I really like my new name, and everyone says it suits me. Auntie Taryn picked me up at the track on Saturday morning because I broke my leg racing. She took me to see my doctor, then took me home for the weekend.

I really like the other greyhoundies and the people who live with me and visit. I've spent most of the holiday weekend hanging out on a soft bed and eating snacks. There are so many new things like toys and running shoes that I want to keep close to me, so they're saying I'm a "collector." They smile when they say it, so I guess that's okay.

Wish me well in my surgery tomorrow. I'm be all better soon and ready to move in with my forever people. Maybe they have visitation hours at Briarcrest...

Maddie is white with brindle patches and is 3. Her small dog and cat status is unknown. She will be available soon.
