Summer's Story...
Summer is a Sheltered Kitty Cat:

adoption date is 5-21-08 and can be put to sleep any time after the adoption date. As of this month, this kitty cat is still at the shelter & is in need of rescue

This is what a volunteer has to say about this kitty cat.
Summer is around 8 Months old. FUTURE LAP CAT ALERT Summer is a little doll. This kitty was born to a feral mom, was brought to the shelter in a trap and when she was spayed her ear was notched. What a shame because Summer is a sweetheart of a kitten, she isn't feral, she is as affectionate as a kitty can be, she is just frightened. Summer craves attention, she just needs to know you are not going to hurt her, she must still remmeber being caught in a trap. This llittle girl will nuzzle her head into you, she wants to be held and loved, how could anyone refuse her! Summer has beautiful tan and brown tabby markings, she will be a wonderful addition to a caring family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer, a Grass Valley Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Grass Valley, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Grass Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grass Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grass Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grass Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
