Hunter's Story...
This is Hunter. This beautiful boy is around 4months old and weighs 29lbs. Hunter was found as a stray , and were taking to a county pound. We can tell he has had some training, because he walks on a leash really well, and if you tell him to sit, he will after you say it a few times. So it seems he has been worked with. He has been in with other dogs he doesn't know and has gotten along with them really well. We really feel he will do well in any family situation. If you would like to make this great dog part of your family, please apply today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Windham Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Windham, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
