Scruffy 1 YR OLD's Story...
SCRUFFY just left us in December to join a family with a little girl. But only a couple months later, the parents divorced and Scruffy was left with the little girl and her mother who found it difficult to care for two little ones on her own.

So now Scruffy is searching for a new home with lots of love to give. He is an 18 month old Wirehaired Terrier mix, weighing in around 15 pounds. He loves people, especially kids, and gets along great with other dogs and cats. He is already housebroken and loves going on walks. You do have to be careful about doors though because he does have a habit of darting out and is difficult to catch, so a fenced in yard is highly recommended.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scruffy 1 YR OLD, a Struthers Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Struthers, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Struthers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Struthers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Struthers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Struthers paves the way for another one to be saved.
