My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ROSE #2 is a 5 week old intact yellow female Lab that weighs 10 pounds.. Their mom Sandy was pregnant when she came into Lab Rescue and she had 9 yellow pups.
There are 7 males and 2 females and they range in weight from 8 lbs 12.5 oz. to 11 lbs 2.5 oz.
They were born on 13 April, can be seen on 30 May or after and can go home on 6 June.
They are all friendly active pups who love being picked up and are very good when in your arms getting attention.
They have been to the vet: all are healthy; had their first Distemper-Parvo combo; dewormed and will have had heartworm and flea/tick preventative. Rose is approved for kids of all ages. More info soon!!

Puppies are:

Raising a puppy can be very rewarding but also very demanding pursuit. Puppy adopters need to ensure that the puppy:
- Has a potty/social interaction break every three or four hours until 6 months old to ensure house training success.
- Gets plenty of daily play time and walks.
- Has regular interaction with kids, adults and other dogs to ensure positive socialization.
- We will not place two pups from the same litter together.
- When adopters visit the puppies before the pups are ready to go home, the adopter must leave a check with the foster for the adoption fee ($350) and spay/neuter deposit ($50) to hold the dog. If the adopters change their mind, we will return the check to them.
-Puppy adoption fee is $325 and there is a spay/neuter deposit of $50 which is refundable when pup is spayed/neutered.
A contract with a training addendum & spay/neuter addendum will be completed before a puppy heads home.
- Gets the vaccinations in accordance with the Lab Rescue Puppy Protocol and other care as recommended by their vet.
- Goes to a formal training program when the puppy is six months old in addition to in-home training efforts.
- Is spayed/neutered as required by six months of age (Mid October 2015).

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.

If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.
