Find a pet to adopt
Hi my name is Marty. I'm a sensitive girl. I came here from another shelter after being there for almost 2 years and I am ready for a fresh start. I was a flat-lander and I am really having fun being outside in the mountains! I would like to explore some hiking trails with you! I know a few of my commands. I could use a good leader to teach me some more. Hugs are not my favorite thing but I sure like a good side scratch and a shoulder rub. Come on by the shelter to meet me and see if I am the one for you!

Rescues and shelter volunteers in Buena Vista already know the personality and tendencies
of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it
much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Buena Vista breeder,
or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for
a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of
You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Shar Pei breeders who
help with Blue Heeler/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten
adopted in Buena Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
