Yuki's story:
Yuki is an adult (born 12-19-12) spayed female Akita. Yuki is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm negative, on flea/heartworm prevention, house trained, crate trained, and leash trained.
Yuki comes to us after being surrendered by a family who was expanding and felt they could no longer care for her. She is a young, active girl who has lived with young children. She was not getting along with the other female in her previous home, but does great in doggy daycare. She was adopted in Dec 2015, and returned 6 months later because the family was moving.
When she was returned to us, she had developed an issue with her eyes. We have taken her to multiple consults and experts, and no one seems to know what is affecting her. She still has her vision and seems minimally affected by whatever is going on.
She LOVES people, and wants a home with the right large male dog to play with!
