Lulu's Story...
Name: Lulu
Breed: Golden/Collie type mix
Age: Adult
Gender: Female

Lulu is a female adult Golden/Collie type mix, a medium to large (60 pounds) size gentle dog who wants nothing more than some affection and time spent with her. She likes walks, does well on the leash, and is gentle with kids and other pets. Lulu is medium energy, and has spent a LONG time in the shelter waiting to break free and find her own place. Lulu is reported house trained, but we caution everyone to know accidents are pretty common at first, and is crated when left alone. She more than deserves a place and family/person to love her.

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lulu, a Minneapolis Golden Retriever/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Collie for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Collie dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
