My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lola is a wonderful 7.5 year old, rough coat, Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing in around 25 lbs. She is extremely happy and energetic dog. Loves to cuddle, especially wrapped like a baby in a towel after a bath. Lounging on her back is one of her most favorite resting positions. She is full of personality and exceedingly smart. With time and consistency she is easily trained. Like a lot of energetic dogs her attention span is fleeting in particular when a squirrel runs by. She enjoys running, jumping (she can get almost to 5 feet), playing, and swimming. One of her most unique things is her treats, she loves broccoli and other crunchy veggies, which makes her a wonder in the kitchen cleaning up peelings and keeping the floor spotless. Her sense of duty to her family is unwavering and she makes sure everyone behaves properly. She is top dog, and has small dog big boss mentality. Because of this she has had some run-ins with other dogs that are also dominant. Smaller dogs are who she gets along with least. She views small children as equals that she must also be dominant over on VERY rare occasions. She quickly needs a home with no small children and no small or dominant dogs. She is currently being boarded at a vet, since her last family has small children, and only has 12 days left at that location. She is a pound rescue and has been with her last family for 6 wonderful years. Lola is spayed and up to date on all her vet work. She is also micro-chipped. Lola is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained. For more information on Lola, please contact Adrienne at adriennepelletier@gmail.com or call 575-418-8315. Thank you!
