Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you would like more information about Sally or are interested in adopting her, please send an email to Jane at houstonshelterpets@aol.com
Are you looking for a running partner? One who will always be ready to get up and go? Then Sally is your gal!
This two-year-old, 33-pound Lab mix loves to run. In fact, her foster mom says Sally’s perfect day would involve running a marathon and then taking a power nap.
But don’t be worried that Sally has too much energy. She’s just as happy to play with her toys or take a ride in the car, where she shows off her excellent manners and never distracts the driver—except maybe with her cuteness.
Speaking of manners, Sally is house-trained and crate-trained, and she knows the sit, off, and wait to eat commands. Her eager-to-please personality will make it easy to continue her training, especially if her favorite pumpkin treats are the reward.
Sally does need to be in a home without small dogs, cats, or young children, the latter because she has the strength of a dog twice her size. She also prefers to meet new dogs on neutral territory.
Her foster mom offers these last words of praise, “She is wonderful. I love her!” If Sally sounds like the right fit for your home—and your running program—schedule a meet and greet today.
