Romeo(Is in Hudson NH)'s Story...
We are Romeo and Juliet. Don't be fooled by our names, we are not lovers, but siblings! We are about a little over a year old. We were found as strays and brought to PETS IN NEED. Juliet has been very brave and seeks attention. I'm proud of her and am trying to follow her example. We have come a long way and have shown we like to be pet and have learned to play. We have tremendous potential to be wonderful pets and need a home that will give us time to adjust and feel comfortable.

We are very sweet and we are learning to adapt to our new location.

We are currently at the adoption center in the Petsmart store in Chelmsford. If you would like to meet us, please stop by the store and talk to one of our volunteers. If there is no one at the store, please email cindyavola@gmail.com and she will be more than happy to put you in touch with the volunteer who is in charge of this location.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo(Is in Hudson NH), a Somerville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Somerville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Somerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
