Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hank is a young beagle/basset mix from the Terrebonne Shelter in LA. He is neutered, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and heartworm negative. He is house trained and uses a doggie door. He is great with other dogs. He is a beautiful dog with soulful eyes. He does well on a leash.
We require that our dogs live indoors and prefer a securely fenced yard. We do home visits and check vet references prior to an adoption. Please email QueenB534@aol.com for more information.
Here's an update on Hank:
First featured dog that needs a foster or adoptive home is Hank - Hank is a beagle/basset mix that is super fearful. He needs an experienced dog person that has time to devote to him. I would not be comfortable putting Hank in a home with children. Hank is fine with other dogs. He is completely vetted and ready to roll. He would do best in a foster or adoptive home within 100 miles, in any direction, of New Orleans. If rehabbing an animal is something that you would feel good about doing, Hank is your dog. He has been bounced around a lot and this, I have no doubt, has only contributed to his lack of confidence. Hank was possibly abused by whoever had him before he came into rescue. His fear handicaps him and keeps him from being a happy boy. Please consider opening your heart and home to this super needy hound.
