Cole's Story...
Hi! Thank you for looking at me! My name is Cole, and I am so glad to be here! I would love a family which is calm, as I am one of the quietest in our litter. I will be around 10 pounds when grown and as of June 1st, I am about 10 qeeks old. I was in Louisiana, and lucky for me, that nice rescue lady came to get me. Even though I try to be brave, it was noisy in the shelter. The lady cared for me, vetted me and made sure I got on transport with Little Paws 4 U. That is a Category A rescue in Rhode Island. I am a puppy, and puppies like me do need companionship, attention and a bit of training (we are close to being perfect, but need a little help!). Please ask about me if you have the time and patience for a little one like me. Please ask about me only if you do not have small children or larger, aggressive dogs. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, western MA, Cape Cod, Maine or are near Manhattan NYC, Boston, Worcester or the Fall River areas. My fee of 395. covers all vetting to date, transport to RI, a Health Certificate, an exam by a RI vet, de-worming and I have my own collar and blanket as well. Please call Judy with any further questions at 401 640-0082...would LOVE a fur-ever family!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cole, a Foster Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Foster, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
