Sadie's Story...
Sadie has been well loved and socialized. Her mom can no longer provide a good life due to health reasons and is looking for a wonderful home for Sadie. She is about 8 years old and in apparent good health based on the initial vet visit and updating of vaccinations. Her teeth do need cleaning and we are in process of getting her scheduled. She is used to living in doors with her mom, but would like to have a backyard to play in and maybe some grass to roll in. She is eager to meet new people and is very affectionate - actually a very sweet love bug. Her eyes are filled with gentle love.

She has an elegance and grace about her and is very calm. She loves to play ball and is very good with even young children. If you bounce the ball for her the puppy in her comes out. She has been good with a variety of dogs and has excellent house manners. Being very intelligent and food motivated, this girl can learn to do anything and is eager to please. It is a pleasure to take a walk with Sadie and watch her explore the world of smells.

To meet Sadie the beautiful lady, we need you to complete an on-line application through our website and her foster family will contact you quickly: www.lookbackrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Monrovia Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Monrovia, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Monrovia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Monrovia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Monrovia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Monrovia paves the way for another one to be saved.
