My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Missy is the sweetest, most loving cat you will ever meet. She is calm, loves to cuddle and has the cutest little meow. She has been through a lot in her 9 years. She was in an abusive situation for many years and the last straw was when a child wrapped a hair tie around her leg. It cut off the circulation and sliced into her leg so deep that we didn't think her leg would be saved.

After weeks of daily wound care and bandage changes, her leg has completely healed! You can't even really tell anything was ever wrong.

Unfortunately, Missy Mae tested positive for feline leukemia. What does this mean? She needs to be an only cat, or with another HEALTHY feline leukemia positive cat. She is incredibly healthy and has shown no symptoms of the virus. That said, feline leukemia may shorten her life. She deserves to have her last few years filled with love and compassion after what she has been through.

She is living in a kennel now and she deserves much better. Please contact us if you are interested in this sweet, amazing girl.
