My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meredith was found by a park ranger in the San Antonio Missions. She was terrified- shaking like a leaf and covered in ticks. The picture on the left is her the day we rescued her. \r\n\r\nAfter a few weeks of love, good food and a safe home, Meredith has turned into a really sweet, playful dog. She's a bit of a toy hoarder- she loves to collect toys and hide them in her kennel! We think she is about 3 years old. \r\n\r\nMeredith did test positive for heartworms, but she is not showing any symptoms. We decided not to pursue the fast kill option since it can be really hard on a dog. Her adoption will come with a year's supply of Heartgard as it is imperative that she is on a heartworm preventive the rest of her life. \r\n\r\nMeredith is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. She loves other dogs and cats! She's kennel trained, very sweet and great with kids. If you're looking for a wonderful dog, Meredith's the one!
