Meet Diva, a petite, 2-year-old, Lhasa Apso. Diva came to our Centre from the pound, a terrible example of gross neglect. Her fur was so badly matted that she had to be completely shaved. Through the ordeal, she did not flinch, snap or show any sign of aggression. Her little face just showed trust. We named her Diva because we thought that from now on she should be treated as a Diva. Diva is quiet and shy and is now seeking human attention and affection. She gets along well with other dogs and the cat. Diva likes going for walks and also likes coming back to be hugged and cuddled and told what a wonderful girl she is. Voici Diva, une petite Lhasa Apso âgée de 2 ans. Diva nous est arrviée de la fourrière, un exemple terrible de négligence. Son poil était tellement emmêlé qu'elle a dû être complètement râsée. Pendant le rasage, elle n'a fait aucun mouvement, n'a pas mordu et n'a démontré aucun signe d'agression. Son petit visage ne démontrait que la confiance. Nous l'avons nommé Diva parce que nous pensions qu'à partir de ce moment, elle sera traitée comme une Diva. Diva est tranquille et gênée et recherche maintenant l'attention humaine et l'affection. Elle s'adonne bien avec les autres chiens et avec le chat. Diva aime aller pour des marches et aime aussi revenir pour se faire caresser et minoucher et se faire dire qu'elle est une jeune fille magnifique.
