My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB November 1, 2013.

Hi my name is Leah! I am sure many of you have read about my journey (http://torontocatrescue.ca/2015/04/13/your-urgent-help-is-needed-for-leah/) and I am happy to say I am feeling much better. My foster mommy thinks I am ready to start looking for my forever family!

I am a little scared, but I know with the right family I will come along nicely. I take a long time to trust initially and come out of my hiding spot, but once I do I will let you pat me, and I will come for a cuddle. I love wet food and treats, so you can always coax me out with these delights! I will let my foster mom pick me up and hold me but I just squirm the whole time to get down... perhaps with more time I would be more comfortable with this.

I live with other cats and dogs with no problems, but my foster mom thinks they should be on the quieter side as with any noise I tend to hide. This is also why she feels I am best suited for an adult only home. I have never shown aggression with kids or towards my foster mom, but she just feels the constant buzz and unpredictability that comes along with kids is too overwhelming for me on an everyday basis.

I have had my nails clipped and coat brushed although I really don't enjoy either - they are just so unfamiliar to me so I run away. I use the litter religiously (like a good girl) and I do not cause any damage to the house or furniture.

I love looking out the windows in my foster home. I will meow occasionally to let you know I am here and when I am feeling confident I will even rub up against you! Don't move too quick though or I will be on my way. My foster mom feels that in the right home I will just blossom into a social confident kitty. May I become part of your family please?
