Rhett's Story...
Rhett, male, 5 weeks old, lab/hound mix (best guess)

These are our Gone With The Wind puppies! They are true mutts. Mom is a Heinz 57 lab mix and weighs about 50 pounds and we have no idea who/what the dad is. We suspect the puppies will weight somewhere between 50 and 70 pounds once full grown….this is just our best guess. We are currently taking applications for the pups. As of 5/29, they are 5 weeks old and will be ready to go to their forever homes sometime between June 19 and June 26. Stay tuned for more detailed write ups on each puppy!!

As with all puppies that come into our group, we require a physical fence for the yard and homes with no small children (under age 6).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rhett, a Rockville Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Rockville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Rockville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rockville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rockville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rockville paves the way for another one to be saved.
