Coco's Story...
This somewhat shy beauty is Coco. She came to us by way of Animal Control, as all our dogs do, and was surrendered by her owner there. It's apparent that Coco was a mother at one time but at the age of around one, those days are over now as she is spayed and fully vetted. Coco is incredibly sweet, gentle and loves to get affection. She's good at retrieving and great with kids. We think that Coco is a Golden Retriever mix and she is slightly on the small side. For adoption information email us at mcfots@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a Clarksville Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Clarksville, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Clarksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Clarksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Clarksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Clarksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
