Lilly's Story...
Look at the soulful eyes and lovely smile on our Lilly! Her expressive winkled face is characteristic of her Shar Pei breed! Miss Lilly was brought to us by her former guardian, who was experiencing some health problems and could no longer properly care for her. Lilly's date of birth is December 23, 2011. Lilly has a beautiful brindle coat and loves to show it off when she goes out for leashed walks. Lilly is in a foster home with another dog and does well with dogs. This girl loves to be outside and is a wiggle butt when she sees her people. She can be shy when meeting new people, but once Lilly has decided to be your friend, she will run around and play with you! We think Lilly will be an extremely devoted and loyal dog with her new guardian. Lilly is crate trained and house-trained. Lilly is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped, spayed and ready to meet her new family. If you think this is the girl for you, please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Evansville Shar Pei dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shar Pei for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Shar Pei dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shar Pei breeders who help with Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
