  • Color: Brindle
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Look at the soulful eyes and lovely smile on our Lilly! Her expressive winkled face is characteristic of her Shar Pei breed! Miss Lilly was brought to us by her former guardian, who was experiencing some health problems and could no longer properly care for her. Lilly's date of birth is December 23, 2011. Lilly has a beautiful brindle coat and loves to show it off when she goes out for leashed walks. Lilly is in a foster home with another dog and does well with dogs. This girl loves to be outside and is a wiggle butt when she sees her people. She can be shy when meeting new people, but once Lilly has decided to be your friend, she will run around and play with you! We think Lilly will be an extremely devoted and loyal dog with her new guardian. Lilly is crate trained and house-trained. Lilly is up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, microchipped, spayed and ready to meet her new family. If you think this is the girl for you, please complete an adoption application at ITVrescue.org.

About It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

It Takes A Village Canine Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) dog rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless dogs irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, animal control, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, black dogs and other hard-to-place dogs.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are generally at Petsmart on Burkhart every Sunday and have adoption events at various locations throughout the year.

Our Adoption Process...

We require all adopters to complete an application and pay an adoption fee. Adoption fees vary, but are usually $150 to $175. We may do a vet reference check and/or home visit.
