My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"BLONDIE" is a creamy white "over sized" Toy Poodle at 12" tall and a healthy 13 pounds. She was purchased as a puppy from a Breeder in Northern Minnesota by a couple who have recently retired and purchased a home in an Arizona community where dogs are not allowed.

Blondie's family will now be moving south but sadly, without her. Thank you Donna for letting us help.

For her entire life, Blondie has been an only dog. She had received lots of attention with free run of the house.

You can see on our web site how very unhappy she was here. For many days, she sat at the top of our steps waiting for her family to return. Or she would be under our kitchen table sulking and feeling miserable about her life.

I do see this loyalty in various Poodles that we receive, but I do know that with patience and time they do come out of their depression.

I also promised Blondie that we will find her a good and loving "forever more" family.

Blondie, who was born March 19, 2006 is NOT a rescue Poodle, but a "Rehome". She tolerates all our other Poodles, but prefers that they all just disappear.

Various families have come to visit and socialize with our Poodles. Blondie joined in the fun and had a GREAT time visiting with everyone.

I have also found that she likes to sit on top of our couch to look out the window. Such a nice girl.

A few nights ago, she finally jumped into my lap and gave me kisses LOTS of kisses. Good girl! There is hope.

Unfortunately, Blondie had a melt down at our Vet's office when the Vet Tech tried to take her out of her kennel. Blondie became very angry and agitated. NOT good!

They put her kennel on the floor and then she came out immediately! Good girl. She was a happy little girl and just fine after that.

I do kennel her at our home, and NEVER had a problem like that with her here. She is obviously stressed at new place, especially at a Vet's office!

Blondie is a quiet, gentle and soft Poodle who is very capable of giving lots of love. A quiet home with no other dogs or children will be required.
You must be willing to have patience with her for a few days while she adjusts.

Yes, she's worth it as this smart girl dose tricks! She will sit up on her back legs and will wave her front legs! Oh Cute. She will also roll over and play dead. Really!

She is extremely sweet and loving, enjoys going for walks and will quickly come up to Mike for him to give her attention and love. Blondie is more of a Poodle who thinks she is a person and NOT a dog.

Pictured you can see that she has a long (un-docked) Poodle tail. She will wag it and curl it over her back when she's happy!

Please, no other dogs or children.

Her $250.00 (plus $18.00 Minnesota State Sales Tax) adoption fee includes her kennel, bed, blanket, toys, leash, collar, a bag of dog food, dog treats, dog dish, winter coat and various toys.

She has also been Vet checked healthy, Home Again micro chipped and registered. Her teeth were cleaned, wormed, shots are up to date, has been heart worm / Lymes tested negative while being placed on a preventative. We also use "Frontline Plus" as we do live in the woods.

Please contact us if you any specific questions about Blondie or if you would like her "Application For Adoption".
