Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daisy May is a 2 year old Lab/Heeler mix. Daisy is already spayed and weighs about 60 lbs. Before Daisy was surrendered to the shelter she was raised with a cat and with her very own boy; before coming to the shelter, Daisy’s favorite place to be was right beside her boy: lying beside him in the shade of the shed, or sitting quietly with him on the hard wood floor of the house. Daisy has a real gift with children; recently a young boy who was visiting Daisy grabbed a treat away from her while she was nibbling it on the ground and Daisy just looked up at him and smiled. Even when the same little boy waved a twig in front of her face, nearly poking her eye out, Daisy lay there, calmly smiling up at him. Daisy has a lame back leg and perhaps that is why week after week, day after day, as good as she is, Daisy keeps getting passed by. If you are someone who recognizes the special quality that Daisy brings to her interactions with kids, if you feel you can help Daisy take care of her leg, and if you want to give this faithful dog the loving, forever home she deserves, we would like to hear from you: Please contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, or call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org
