Ruby has a lot of affection to pass around, and she can't find her forever family to smother in kisses!
Ruby is a 3-5 year old, spayed, blockhead mix who is currently available for adoption in Crescent City, California.
Ruby is the queen of kisses, but is even better at her full body wiggle. She greets her favorite people with complete excitement (the full body wiggle!) and lots of love and affection. Ruby loves to go on walks, and loves to play. She likes to of course follow this with naps and cuddles as well. This girl loves nothing more than to be around her people. She even takes treats very gently!
Ruby would prefer a home with no cats or small dogs, and while she can be picky with her dog friends, she does get along with some other dogs her size. She might do well with another male dog in the home, but it would be best to test out the love connection before taking Roxy home!
Del Norte County Animal Control is located in rural Crescent City, CA (a tiny coastal city on the OR/CA border). We have a very small shelter with small indoor 3x6 kennel runs, low foot traffic, odd adoption hours and it rains a lot which means the dogs can’t come outside and play. Please consider making a difference in a dog’s life and adopt from our shelter!
We are open Monday – Friday from 8am to 5pm. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

Adoption fees are between $15 - $95 depending on if the dog has been previously fixed and if you are adopting in Del Norte County or out of the county.
