Bolt's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bolt's Story...
I'm a super sweet and super cute black boy. I'm a little over 1 year old and weigh 42 pounds. Everyone tells me I'm just the cutest thing. I do a super cute thing (not on purpose) with my ears. One stays down and the other one goes up....okay, you have to see it to see how cute it is. As you can tell by the overuse of the word, I'm cute! I was a good boy at my first meet and greet. I loved licking the children and got along with other dogs. I'm just learning how to play and have had a great time wrestling with another dog my age. Not sure what I think about cats yet (haven't been around any). I think I need a playmate around my age to help burn off my puppy energy. I'm pretty good on the leash but I like to jump up on you. I love attention, hugs and giving kisses.

If you are interested in this dog, please fill out an application at www.DLRRphoenix.org. Someone will call to schedule a home visit so you can become an approved adopter. Also, visit our wonderful Facebook page at www.facebook/desertlab. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bolt, a Phoenix Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
