My story

So close to Safety, yet so far away!
Imagine living in the bushes, cold, afraid and starving. Each day you see another person walk by that you hope will give you the food you desperately need or the help you have been waiting for. That’s just what Charlie had to endure while he was living in the parking lot of an animal control facility in Los Angeles. Yep, animal care & control. Each day watching as another kitty finds a safe, loving home and he couldn’t even get a bite of food except for what he found in the garbage cans. Thankfully, a rescue group has recently been allowed to begin feeding the cats & kittens, spay/neuter the feral ones and find homes for the tame wonderful kitties like Charlie. When they asked for our help, we couldn’t say no. Charlie is now in a loving foster home where he knows what it’s like to have a bed, all the food he wants and most of all, LOVE and attention. This boy is one of the sweetest kitties around. He LOVES to talk, probably saying thank you for giving him a chance. He doesn’t know much about toys, but he LOVES being big brother to all his foster friends.
