My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gus is a 2.5yr old pit/lab mix tripod, in excellent health, neutered.
We rescued Gus and his roommate from a home where they had been abandoned for approx. 45 days. Regardless of that, he still is the sweetest boy you could ever meet.
Current bio: He's a wonderful sweet soul, friendly, playful, a totally snuggly lap dog with the most expressive eyes, full of energy and enthusiasm. He is happiest when meeting new people or outside chasing new smells.
He’s had basic training and knows commands like sit, down, leave it, stay, and come. He’s house trained, kennel trained and can be left home while you’re at work all day just fine. He doesn’t chew things or jump up on people.
He thrives on routine. He'll need someone committed to getting him out for walks come rain or shine. And being a pit, of course, he also needs plenty of emotional attention, one-on-one interaction/playtime every day. He’ll need a secure fence because he can be a bit determined to get out and explore when let outside.
He’s never been aggressive toward anyone, he's great around kids. We’ve found that he gets anxious around bigger dogs or animals but has lived just fine with a smaller dog in the house and leaves our ducks alone. No idea how he is with cats.
