Hutch's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hutch's Story...
Hutch is a sweet, younger boy that had a rough start to life. He was confiscated from a hoarding situation - and then found himself in a shelter. Now in rescue, Hutch. is learning how to adjust to the good life. He is a little nervous so we're suggesting a home with no small children. We believe Hutch is 2 1/2 years old. He is current on vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped, crate trained, doing well with mastering housebreaking and leash walking.

If you would like to apply to adopt this pup please visit our website at to find instructions and our adoption application. If you see this pup listed here he/she is still available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hutch, a Greensboro Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Rat Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
