My story

From his foster mom:

"Mr. Bentley is a big, gentle, quick-learning boy. He follows commands consistently, and likes to have a happy bond with his Human. He knows Sit, Stay, Back Up, Go To Your Bed, Go In The House, and stops barking (which he rarely does) after a sharp whistle and a call of his name. Bentley is good on walks, and will soon be completely leash trained. He is good with other dogs, and people too. He is not interested in birds. From what I know of him so far, he is the best dog I¹ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
Bentley doesn¹t interrupt our sleep, or wake us up in the morning. He¹s casual about eating times, and doesn¹t require company while he dines.He also does not beg. We tell him to go to his bed while we eat, and he does so without complaint. He has not tried to get food off the counter or dining room table, even when it is within easy reach. Though ten years old, he is very strong. ¬Bentley needs two good walks a day, and will nap soundly after each walk. When he wakes up, he will ask for love, and also some kind of mental stimulation - roaming around the backyard or watching his human make dinner seems to keep him engaged. He also asks for a lot of eye-to¬-eye communication, which might have to do with his current situation. When you¹re done petting him, he will go away if you say I¹m done now, or go lie down. It might take two or three times, but he does comply. He is a most excellent dog, and is a spectacular companion pup."
