SONY's Story...
Sony is just a perfect, happy and playful youngster. He is about one year old and weighs only 45 pounds. Just the right size for any home. Sony walks nicely on a leash and is eager to please. He will sit and stay when you tell him to. He just loves toys of all kinds and will be so happy to get into a new forever home where he will have lots to play with in a yard of his own and when he gets tired he can go inside to a nice soft bed. Sony came to the shelter as a stray on 05/30. He is current on his vaccines, neutered, and tested negative for heart worms. He will be micro-chipped when adopted. He is in run 804 and his ID# is 574851. Hurry in to meet Sony.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SONY, a Marietta Retriever (Unknown Type)/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Pointer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Pointer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Pointer breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
