Sophie's Story...
Sophie is a sweet, active little 3 month old puppy looking for a loving forever home. We aren't too sure of her breed but it is safe to bet on the fact that Sophie will double in size and be a fairly active dog. Puppies are a ton of responsibility so we will be accepting applications for Sophie and not introducing her. The most appropriate applicants will be called in for an introduction. Sophie is a puppy with minimal manners and she will need to be signed up for positive reward based obedience classes before her adoption can be finalized. This will teach her that she shouldn't jump up on people as well as help her work on her potty training. She has started on crate training and this will be a huge help! Sophie would love to live with a playful male dog who can tolerate her puppy antics. A very confident cat that won't run away from Sophie would also be okay, however any children should be over 14 due to her jumpy behavior. If you think Sophie would be a good fit for your home, please submit an adoption application to the front desk for review. The most appropriate applicant will be called in to spend time with Sophie!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Bellingham Pomeranian puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Pomeranian puppy from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
